- Description;
- Beaugnier saxophones are a rare find in good condition. They are made in Mantes and Paris, France, Beaugnier produced high-quality instruments under many names. These include Leblanc, Noblet, and Vito. Musicians like the saxophones for their strong, punchy tone. They have an excellent projection and ar particularly loud. Beaugnier was originally specialized in the manufacture of parts for musical instruments. They started making beautiful stencils for Noblet and Vito and later also supplied instruments under their own brand name. Beaugnier made quality instruments.
This is a special tenor because it has a high F# key, which is rare. The company ceased its activity, in Mantes La Ville, in 1967. The manufacturing was taken over by Leblanc with the factory staff and continued production under the Leblanc brand until 1973.
- This instrument is still needs some restoration work. The F# touch key is missing and will be made new (the tonehole key is there) and the post for the F# key is missing and will be made new.
